NFTY-STR Hatikvah Kallah

NFTY-STR Hatikvah Kallah is for Jewish teens in grades 6-8!

Spend the weekend with over 100 of your newest friends! Be ready to laugh, learn and have a great time at Hatikvah Kallah: the best 6th, 7th and 8th grade event of the year! Its purpose is to get you acquainted with your fellow NFTYites, and all of our traditions and lingo!

You will have the opportunity to meet amazing new people from NFTY-Southern Tropical Region (NFTY-STR), participate in awesome Jewish programming, and have the time of your life!

At home hosted events such as this, participants stay at congregant homes. The host family provides two meals, a space for sleeping, which could include and is not limited to the floor or a sofa, reliable transportation to and from the synagogue or program location. Each host home has a minimum of three teens that are approved by the senior leadership of the host congregation.

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 6 to 8th

  • Meals included in the cost of the event.
  • Registration will be accepted after January 12 on a space-available basis.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

While NFTY-STR does not coordinate transportation, participants should contact their Youth Group Advisor to be included.

Parents and Participants will receive an e-mail one week prior to the event. This confirmation will include important information regarding the event as well as a complete packing list.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through January 7, 2016 – 90% of the registration fees paidThrough January 14, 2016 – 75% of the registration fees paidThrough January 21, 2016 – 50% of the registration fees paid

After January 21, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after January 21, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
